Time to Re-link me! | | |
| My hopes are completely shattered. :(
I just received the rejection from NTU's appeal. "Your application for admission to your choice course(s) has been carefully reviewed and we regret to inform that we are unable to offer you a place as you do not meet the admission criteria."
Goodbye forever NUS and NTU.
**
See you soon, SIM.
So i'll be officially a SIM student (at least i'm not not-here and not-there anymore) following the SIM timetable i've arranged come 1st August.
I'm looking forward to the beginning of school. Can't wait for new bags/shoes/clothes shopping, and stationary shopping!
I'm all set in joining Floorball at SIM. SIM Floorball, i'll be joining you (if you don't disappoint me during the Orientation). Whee, here's to more of floorball days. :D
There's Freshmen Orientation Day at SIM HQ next Tuesday (11th July) and Freshmen Orientation Camp at Aloha Loyang from 25th July - 27th July. HMM, going for the first one before considering if i'll be going for the other one.
Its now official time for me to submit my UOL application form to confirm my place. Need.to.go.RELC.next.Monday! I've been so lazy to fill up the application form.
So now, i'll just have to pray the new faces will be nice to me. Hopefully, you'll see a happy post about me and my new schoolmates/classmates very soon later in the year.
As ambitious as it may sound, I'm aiming for first class honours in my degree course. (its always good to aim HIGH.) Jiayou Ah Wen, although you can't make it anywhere in the local Universities, do well in the external UOL degree and prove others WRONG. I'll be a better student.
I shall face the new school, new environment, new faces with optimism. Smile for me. (:

| After weeks/months of waiting, i got rejected by both local Universities. (search the thesaurus for any word that relates to sad, upset, dejected, disappointed; i felt all of them) And now, i've received a NO from NUS appeal. My only hope left is NTU appeal results, though i wouldn't dream too high again.
Disappointments have numbing effect on me now. Terribly numbed.
Looks like i've been convincing myself (still am) that i'll be studying in Clementi. Its SIM as a UOL student soon enough, if you're wondering where...its right beside Ngee Ann Poly.
Got to make the best outta what i'm gonna study no matter what. Don't wanna waste my Parents' hard-earned money.
Someone, cheer me up?
I've been a happy kid at work these few months. I'm enjoying every bit of my time in GE Money. The 4 other temps are a crazy bunch of people that makes my life there so enjoyable! I'll miss them, and the rest of the people (perm) i've been working with for the past 6 months. Its gonna be my last day come next Friday, ending my job at the end of June. Just in time for some rest in July (and heehee, FOOTBALL! :P) before i head back to school.

Life have been mundane. & it has been full of waiting (for what, i shall not go into details. ifyouknowyouknow. ifyoudontthatsyourproblem)
I just got my rejection letter from NUS. "Thank you for applying to NUS" "I am sorry about this"
This isn't the letter i've been ANTICIPATING, at all. fuck.
My dream University hopes are dashed completely.
So, STOP complaining or get overly troubled if you have a choice between NUS/NTU/SMU. You're basically very lucky already, so just be contented. Not everyone gets to CHOOSE.
NTU/NIE, please do not disappoint me any further. :(
